Freddie Stafford is one of Sydney’s brightest young jazz pianists. With his own compositions and a fresh take on the great jazz standards, Freddie draws inspiration from Bud Powell, Sonny Clark, Oscar Peterson and many others. At just 19 years old and at the end of his second year at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Freddie has made a name for himself playing regularly with some of Sydney’s finest musicians. Jazz Vocalist Leah Berry is establishing herself as a notable emerging figure in the Sydney jazz scene. She is an impressive performer, improviser and lyricist, who captivates audiences with her soulful and velvety tone. Leah is currently studying Jazz Vocal Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, taking inspiration from jazz greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae and Sarah Vaughan.
