About the Event
Ariel Bart is a harmonica player and composer based in Berlin. She began playing the chromatic harmonica at age 7 developing a distinctive voice through her original compositions. Her debut album, In Between (spring 2021, Ropeadope Records), introduced her innovative sound, which was further developed in her second album, Documentaries (Ropeadope Records). Ariel has collaborated with artists such as William Parker, Andrew Cyrille, Yossi Fine, Yemen Blues, and has performed as a soloist with The Jerusalem Orchestra East and West.
The Ariel Bart Trio has been active for the past three years performing at various jazz festivals across
Europe including Éclats d'Email (FR), Jazzahead 2024 (DE), Freespace JazzFest (HK),
Jazz à l’Ouest (FR) and more. Their upcoming album is set for release in Sep 2025.
Ariel’s music offers a unique format and intimate language, with the soulful sound of the
harmonica at its center. Her playing contrasts beautifully with surrounding textures,
