Bands are usually booked out up to 4 months in advance. Bookings for 2026 will open in October.  ​Due to demand NIMA no longer has capacity to support solo or duo gigs (please reach out to The Press Bookhouse or The Grand Hotel). Being a not-for-profit organisation led by volunteers we endeavour to respond within five business days except over the Christmas/New Year period when NIMA takes a 4 week break.

Please note our small stage (4m x 3m) can accommodate up to 7 players max and our venue can accommodate up to 80 guests. There is no acoustic piano. When you register to perform you must include your date preferences, promo material and a brief description of what the audience should expect. For new bands/artists a recording is mandatory. Music that does not incorporate improvisation will not be considered. If one of your musicians is yet to be confirmed please advise TBC and please state on the form if you would like NIMA to recommend local musicians to support your performance.
