About the Event
Making his NIMA debut join Doplh Seccombe launch his debut album , Dauphin - 'Don't Lose Heart', joined by an all star Newcastle ensemble— a rich jazz aesthetic, with playful influences from the Caribbean and Latin America.
Dolph is a trained musician and multi-instrumentalist from Newcastle with a deft touch and an ear for melody. He demonstrates an eclectic taste in music and influences deeply grounded in the tradition of American jazz and sometimes distinctly personal. The group has formed to launch Dolph's debut EP which including new compositions and arrangements from 2026. Doplh brings his rich vocal tones matched with lyrical jazz guitar and will be accompanied by an all-star Novocastrian ensemble featuring Joseph Cadman on piano, Jeremy Burrows on bass and Tom Avgenicos on trumpet.
