About the Event
"From time to time I have some interesting ideas pop up in my head. This is my main vehicle for developing and refining those ideas into original pieces that each have a distinctive mood. I called the group ‘Edge Case’ after reading an article about the issues with self-driving cars. Edge Cases are the unexpected events that can occur on the road which require snap decision making and well developed instincts. It reminded me of what it’s like to perform my music live – being completely in the moment and embracing all the chaos that comes with live performance. It’s also a reminder to push my composing to the edge and squeeze as much as possible out of the ephemeral impulses that roll around in my head."
