About the Event
Escape the cliche this Valentine's Day and treat yourselves to a night of rhythm, sweat, and harmony—all while supporting an incredible cause! MIRA invites you on a date on an exotic, candle-lit journey to the very heart of South American music. Led by the exquisite jazz-trained Chilean vocalist Magdelena Mira, this world-class ensemble blends traditional rhythms with contemporary jazz phrasing, creating an intimate atmosphere that is pure magic. “As much as you do, as far as you go,” Magdelena says, “the roots are the strongest thing.” Magdalena has brought together a top-class band who are all passionately immersed in the music of their ancestors. Combined with Magdalena’s unique jazz phrasing and improvisation, MIRA is the rhythm, sweat, and harmony of South American roots animated by a contemporary spirit. Wherever you trace your own roots, MIRA will move you and linger long after they've left the stage.
