Pratt/Price with Jess Ciampa

An exciting, percussion-based ensemble blending jazz and modern classical influences. The band plays original works by Daryl Pratt (vibraphone) and Mike Price (guitar), and features Jess Ciampa (percussion).

Daryl’s performance spans elite jazz and classical genres. Noted collaborations include with The Australian Art Orchestra (1994-2001), AtmaSphere (1991-2003), the Chad Wackerman Group (1997-2006) as well as Daryl’s own group Sonic Fiction.

Mike has had an extensive career both here and in the USA. In Australia he’s played with many top musicians including Miroslav Bukovsky, Jonathan Zwartz, Vince Jones and Bernie McGann. Mike was also head of Jazz studies at the Australian National University from 1997 to 2012.

Jess is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and has performed with the SSO, Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, ACO, Synergy, the Seymour Group and the Sydney Dance Company.
