About the Event
Steph Russell is a Newcastle-born musician whose sound weaves together soul, folk, and contemporary jazz. A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and winner of the 2020 Australian Singing Competition (judged by Katie Noonan), Steph has established herself as a dynamic and innovative voice in the Aussie music landscape. Her songwriting and performances reveal a compelling, nuanced worldview, and a commanding stage presence.
Steph's versatility as a musician has seen her appear in large-scale arena and television events, collaborating with some of the country’s most celebrated artists including Kate Ceberano, Vanessa Amorosi, Paulini, Emma Pask and James Morrison, as well as Jazzmeia Horn and Patti Austin internationally.
