Newcastle powerhouse singer, songwriter and musician, Steph Russell, celebrates the release of her new album, showcasing a unique blend of soul, folk and contemporary jazz. Born and raised in Newcastle, Steph is a versatile artist whose sound draws seamlessly across genres. A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, she is a recipient of both the Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship and the 2MBS Ken Weatherley Scholarship. Steph has collaborated with leading Australian and international artists including Kate Ceberano, Vanessa Amorosi, Paulini, Christine Anu, Emma Pask, Jazzmeia Horn, Patti Austin and James Morrison. Regularly performing at venues and festivals across Newcastle, Sydney and beyond, Steph continues to carve out a distinctive voice in the national music scene.
