About the Event
NIMA is thrilled to be a major sponser for the Jacob Neale Jazz Awards celebrating our next generation of talented jazz musicians featuring the Saxophone this year. Five young saxophone finalists chosen to perform a program of pieces with piano trio. Our performers will have the chance to win $5000 (1st prize), $2000 (2nd prize) and $500 (Regional Prize).
The Jacob Neale Jazz Awards are presented by Newcastle Conservatorium of Music and major sponsor Newcastle Improvised Music Association (NIMA).
